On a daily (often hourly) basis I'm asked about the economy and how the job market is shaping up. Over the last 60 days, or s0, my response mirrors something to the effect that jobs are picking up, things are moving in the right direction (albeit slowly but surely), and job seekers still need to keep their skills sharp in an effort to compete with the rest of the market. Although things are going far better than they were 6 months ago, job growth seems to be slow and steady.
I wanted to bring attention to, with non-partisan intention, a CNN.com article where President Obama speculates on a number of critical national issues including healthcare, Afganistan, and yes, Job Growth. I don't call the news good or bad. It just draws attention to the realities of today's economic status.
